Brilliant bit of kit for the van. The 1mA DC clamp feature is an absolute lifesaver for tracking down parasitic battery drains on modern cars without having to disconnect the battery and reset all the modules.
I bought this specifically for the LoZ voltage function. Too many times I've been caught out by ghost voltages on long cable runs in commercial buildings. This proves the circuit dead perfectly. Great value compared to my old Fluke.
Very capable AC DC clamp multimeter. The auto-ranging is fast and the True RMS gives me confidence on inverter drives. Dropped one star because the screen can be a bit reflective when working outside in bright sunshine, but otherwise faultless.
I do a lot of HVAC work and having a temperature clamp meter that also does capacitance for motor capacitors in one small tool saves me carrying three different meters up a ladder. Highly recommended.
Next day delivery was spot on. The build quality feels solid and the jaws are small enough to get into tight consumer units. The V-Alert live wire check is very sensitive and accurate.
Excellent 6000 count clamp meter. It's much more compact than I expected, which is a good thing for my tool pouch. The included temp probe leads are a bit short for my liking, but they use standard connections so I swapped them out easily.
As an electronics engineer, finding a clamp meter with genuine 1mA resolution at this price point is rare. The DC zeroing works flawlessly, and the multimeter functions are well within the stated accuracy specs.
